| Batesburg-Leesville Primary and the B-L and Twin City Rotary Clubs will present "Got Book?" on Tuesday, January 31 at 6 p.m. in the BLPS cafeteria. An art show will also be held from 5-7 p.m. and a spaghetti supper sponsored by the school's PTO will be held in the cafeteria beginning at 6:30 p.m. |

K4 Curriculum
The High/Scope Key Experiences are the framework for the K4 program. They are a series of statements that describe the social, cognitive, and physical development of children. The child's day at school is set around a schedule that consists of the following segments: Circle Time, Small Group Time, Work Time, Outside Time, Lunch Time, and Rest Time.

 Toy CenterOur toy center is very popular. It has legos and a lego table, puzzles, counters, sorters, beads and many other manipulatives that are traded out at various times of the year. It also has a writing center and a computer.
 Home CenterThis center has everything we need to set the table, and prepare a meal. We can also dress up, iron clothes, and take care of the babies. There is also a dog to feed and take care of.
 Block CenterIn this center we can use all kinds of blocks to build anything we can imagine. There are also farm animals, zoo animals, vehicles, signs, a garage, paper and pencils, a tool kit, and people.
 Book CenterBook Center is very interactive. There are lots of books to read, paper and pencils, puppets, puzzles, ABC bean bags, train sets, magnetic board and our new smartboard. We really enjoy all of the different ways we can use the smartboard.
 Art CenterIn the Art Center there are pens, pencils, crayons, markers, scissors, paper, paint, and many more things to create our art pieces with. Mrs. Owings lets us hang our art work on the door, walls, and even in the hall. We also have play dough and a tub that has new things to stimulate our creativity each week.
